Mines but More - 5 Sep 2024 Update


A few minor improvements:

Puzzles can now be started from any square.

Previously puzzle generation was hidden in the fade out of the title screen.  This takes about a quarter of a second which was typically enough, and if the puzzle wasn't ready the game would leave the screen blank for a few frames.  Now it generates candidate puzzles for the square the mouse is currently held over.  There's typically enough time while the player positions the mouse over the desired square that there's only a slight delay from the actual click to when the puzzle is ready.

UI will briefly flash green when level increases.

This provides a more noticeable visual feedback of when the next level of mines can be cleared.

Added a button to clear flagged mines up to the current level.

This provides a quick way to clear all found mines after a level-up as requested in the comments.
