A find the difference game with a VTuber-theme tacked onto a sprite generator from another project.

How to Play

Select one of the characters. The correct version of their ID, business card, etc. will be shown for you to memorize. When you are ready, choose a level to play. Several variations of the card with slight changes will be generated. Click and drag the cards to inspect them.

When you find the correct card, place it in the top right corner and click ACCEPT then again to CONFIRM. If you are correct, you will move on to the next level (or the main menu when all three are solved). Otherwise, the correct card will be revealed.

Unlockables

Gallery

Completing all three levels of a particular character unlocks their gallery page. This shows all variations at each level, as well as related character(s).

Challenge Levels

Completing all the normal levels will unlock challenge levels.

Whereas the correct card in the normal levels will always match the character's official appearance, challenge mode will choose one of the random variations. Challenge mode also includes some of the extra characters, picks from a larger set of alterations (some of which are rather unfair), and uses all combinations of the selected variations (so that identifying an incorrect feature can only eliminate half of the options).

Character Creator

Completing any normal level unlocks the character character creator. Maybe not too useful as the features weren't really intended for editing like this. (Note, some options are simplified to fit the screen; download and see 'chargen-demo.ts' and 'chargen-preset.ts' for full capabilities.)

For most items, select the desired appearance from the dropdown menu and the Primary, Secondary, and Accent colors as desired. Colors can be chosen and named in the palette at the right, then selected anywhere in the editor. For some items setting the Secondary or Accent colors to 'NA' will also remove the elements they color.

Some elements have additional control over their positioning allowing you to chose: an X/Y offset from their default position, a position% along the edge of another element they are attached to, and/or an angle to rotate them from the default.

Basic hairlines are defined from default depth (20 is just above the eyelashes). Then starting at the left side of the face at this depth (D=0,X=50) and progressing to the right side (D=0,X=-50). The connection between the points is defined as [Horizontal/Vertical/Diagonal] to [Horizontal/Vertical/Diagonal] with an additional positive or negative weight applied to straighten the line from/to the points.
